Hyperbolic cylinder - a standard surface with a base curve that is a hyperbola and whose generating lines are parallel to each other and orthogonal to the plane of the hyperbola. To create a hyperbolic cylinder, take a hyperbola from which emanate various points P. Through point P, draw a line perpendicular to the chosen hyperbola plane. By moving point P along the hyperbola together with this selected line, we obtain a hyperbolic cylinder.
