Hyper Light Drifter Sword
thingiverse
I designed a stunning sword for the serene protagonist of Hyper Light Drifter, one of the most breathtaking games I've ever played. The design took inspiration from the game's intro cutscene and the drifter's fighting style, blending the elegance of a katana with the strength of a knight's sword. https://youtu.be/v9Cyf-5ncYk Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Select V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 50% on the hilt and first blade piece, 20% on the rest of the blade. Notes: The first blade piece requires special care: print it upside down, with the part that fits into the hilt facing up, and use supports only for the spikes if possible. Post-Printing: The parts fit snugly together, which is intentional. Assemble them with a hammer, and they should require no glue to be a swingable sword. If you still encounter issues, try submerging the part with a hole in hot water, but exercise caution to avoid melting your print.
