Painted in Quill, London, 2018 All attendees of the AA Graduation Ceremony are invited to join in Hyperbation: AA Zoo School, a bold mixed reality (MR) architectural spectacle. Hyperbation: AA Zoo School is an architectural innovation situated between physical and digital realms, pushing the boundaries of hyperisation, gamification, and hyperlocalisation. Building on a rich tradition of extravagant performance and carnival at the AA – epitomized by former School Director Alvin Boyarsky's memorable ride around Bedford Square on an elephant in 1978 – AA Zoo School combines archival materials from the AA with a diverse cast of virtual characters, juxtaposing multiple environments against the live events of the AA Graduation Ceremony and Projects Review, June 22nd, 2018.
