A three-dimensional hyperbolic paraboloid is constructed using a series of connected straight line segments. White parabolic sections can be observed in both xz and yz plane cross-sections that curve across the surface, with some opening upwards and others downwards. It's clear this surface is doubly ruled, with two intersecting lines at every point on its curved face. The two yellow lines meeting at the center serve as asymptotes. Cross-sections taken horizontally through xy planes reveal hyperbolic shapes, although these are not graphically represented.
