HyHandler
thingiverse
The HyHandler lets you enjoy easy access to door handles, push-buttons, and garage-ropes without ever having to touch them directly. Its carefully designed contact points take care of everything for you, sealing themselves safely inside the device once use is complete, eliminating any risk of accidental or unintended contact. This means you can always relax and take your HyHandler with you wherever you go - in your pocket, bag, or even right in your hands. Just two printed parts are needed to get started! All used contact points disappear neatly out of sight. Once opened, the HyHandler stays open; once closed, it stays shut tight. For top-notch files, file updates, or a buyable version, check us out on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hyhandler/hyhandler-operate-without-touch We'd be thrilled if you spread the word about our HyHandler to your friends and send us your experience report for publication - this will help get the HyHandler into production ASAP. Here's what else you'll need to bring your HyHandler project to life: • An expanding rivet with a 4 mm diameter and 10 mm length (e.g. WE 700974600) • A torsion spring with wire thickness ranging from 0.9 mm to 1.1 mm, wound counterclockwise on the left side from 0° to 90°, featuring 2-2.25 windings per leg and each bent at a 90° angle in the direction of the winding before being shortened by 3 mm. Ultimately, the total length (spring core + spring leg) should be approximately 30 mm.
