Hygrometer Lid for Silica Gel Box - Fits hygrometer with latches
prusaprinters
After getting cheap round hygrometers and printing a bunch of hygrometer lids I found that they would not fit because they are tad too large to go through the lid opening in the original lid and have very hard latches which do not compress well and also would not fit through the lid. See pictures of the hygrometer. To address this (with minimum effort) I have resized the original lid in Prusa to make it 1mm wider (for better fit of the hygrometer body) and added a 6 mm wide negative volume box (to accomodate the latches). Not a work of art, but might help someone. The project .3mf file render does not show this well (negative volume box is rendered as solid), see the photos. The hygrometer still screws tight with the original box body (both printed on MK4, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer). To insert the hygrometer, you just push it through and rotate it 90 degrees to lock it in place. On pictures you can see it with the original 50mm 50g body and also the entire assembly inside a Prusament spool.
