Hygiene Hook (Corona-Flatten the curve!!)
thingiverse
Updated another equivalent design to Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4226088. Washing hands is crucial, no question. Maintaining distance from others and using your elbow when sneezing or coughing also helps flatten the curve. However, sometimes you have to touch items that others also come into contact with while doing essential shopping. To support hygienic habits promoted during Corona times, I'm sharing this Tool-Hook: When opening doors, I already use my underarm for doorknobs and push open with my shoulder. But for the opposite direction, I need to pull the door on the doorknob or handlebar. The hook helps open these doors without using your hand. The knob aids in pressing escalator knobs or ringing bells without using your finger (or knuckles). If something is on door-handles or knobs, this tool may help prevent contaminating your hands. A keyring or rope-hole helps keep it with you when leaving home. Print it strong, possibly using PETG to prevent it from breaking. Don't panic; do the things WHO, RKI, and CDC recommend - we're protecting our parents' lives.
