While this ship is built to follow the Schakal's design, it's definitely not a replacement for its predecessor. Both ships have their own strengths and weaknesses, making them suitable for different tasks in battle. The Schakal outshines its counterpart with superior firepower, armor, and crew capabilities. In contrast, the Hyena boasts rechargeable armor, drone control, increased speed, and agility. Its 20mm guns may be less powerful than the Schakal's 30mm ones, but they offer greater yaw and pitch range. Additionally, the Hyena has more Delta-v and can perform long-range missions with ease. Overall, I would deploy the Schakal as a heavy front destroyer and the Hyena as a quick assassin or finisher. Large ships may struggle to keep up with this nimble vessel's capabilities. The armament package ranges from Hydra missiles for taking out large targets to HEKVs and Vulcan machine guns. These versatile guns strike a balance between unguided firepower and guided precision, making them highly effective. To maximize efficiency, the HEKV holders can be ejected after firing all rounds using the ABORT or STAGE commands.
