Hey, I'm loving the green wall you created! It's really easy to make and perfect for beginners. For the best results, use 100% infill and nylon to print, and take it slow - the slower the better. This system is so simple, even first-time growers can do it (check out the combo above and below). Here's what you'll need: * Cotton cord about 5-10mm thick (the bigger the better, but a shoelace will work too) * A 10mm tube and pump (you can also give water by hand) * Screws with 6mm heads or larger (nails will do in a pinch) * Pots or soil bags (check out the link below for the best options) * Plants, of course! Choose from the combo shown in the picture down below * Black film to prevent algae growth (the darker it is, the better) Some extra tips: * For outdoor use, consider using UV-resistant epoxy to keep your module waterproof. Just one layer will do - no need for glass fiber, and avoid applying it to the bottom. * I find that small organic grow bags and a light soil mix work best with this system * If you're growing indoors in a dry, hot area, use terra cotta instead (check out the link below) * If you have a drain-to-recycle water system, use an air pump and enzyme to stabilize the pH. Perlite in the soil mix is also a good idea * When it's very hot and dry, try using terra cotta in the soil and a little bit of hydroponic rockwool in the wall module - just be careful not to block the water tube (check out the link below) The module measures 100x100x100mm, with a pothole that's 54x54x70mm. You can also print the module without the potholder and use what you like - silicone or all fix will make it waterproof. The hole is designed for a 60x60x70mm pot or bag, but you can also print your own pot from the STL file (check it out). Enjoy your green wall, M_X!
