hydroponic Vertical ceiling garden module easy to grow

Hi, check out my green ceiling wire plant system - it's easy to maintain and I'm happy to share the details with you. You can extend the system using regular 80mm PVC pipe pieces, which are widely available. It's also a good idea to use sprinklers in the module reservoir for optimal results. However, a simple hole will also do fine if you prefer. For best results, print your modules using 100% infill and nylon, and opt for a slower printing speed. This system is perfect even for first-time growers - just take a look at the easy plant list below for some suggestions. I was inspired by the Green Fortune system when creating this project. Here's what you'll need to get started: * Cotton cord (approx 5-10mm) - the bigger the better, but shoelace will also work * 8mm tube and pump (you can also give water by hand if preferred) * Optional: sprinklers for added convenience * 3m threaded rod (80mm long) - a steel cable would also be suitable * M3 Hex Nut Spacing Screw (12mm long) to couple the modules together * M3 Rod End for connecting to the ceiling - check out the link below for more information * Pots or soil bags (check out the link below for options) * Black filament (the darker, the better - this will help prevent algae growth) * Plants of course! Check out the plant combo in the picture below for some suggestions Additional tips: * Use the hole in the middle to couple multiple modules together using the 80mm rod and hex bolt. This can support up to 6 meters of plants, depending on the soil mix. * For outdoor use, consider applying a UV-protective epoxy coating to keep your system waterproof. Just one layer should do the trick - no glassfiber is required, but be careful not to apply it to the bottom of the module. * I find that small organic grow bags and a light soil mix work best for this system. * If you're interested in learning more about terra cottem or rockwool, check out the links below. Some plant options you might consider include: * Bromeliads * Ferns * Devil's ivy * Succulent plants * Dracaena * Sea thrift * Bird's-nest fern * Moses-in-the-cradle * Stephanotis floribunda * Phlebodium aureum * Pteris cretica * Davallia fejeensis * Codiaeum variegatum * Lipstick plant * Succulents
