Hydroponic system
thingiverse
Introducing the pioneering design of my Hydroponic tower, boasting a hidden pump system that redefines water efficiency. This innovative concept offers a self-watering and stackable tower planter, perfectly suited for water-saving endeavors. The planting containers can be filled with rockwool or coconut coir plugs, providing optimal conditions for healthy plant growth. The default water tube diameter is 3mm, but it can be increased by drilling or redesign to fit the specific needs of your pump system. A second version of the distributer caters specifically to tubes measuring 19 up to 20mm in diameter. To achieve this impressive feat, I acquired a 5V USB aquarium pump on Amazon and paired it with a fitting tube discreetly hidden within the tower. The pump is connected to a USB charger, which in turn is linked to a Wi-Fi programmable socket, ensuring seamless control over your hydroponic system. The total cost of this comprehensive setup, including the pump system, comes in at approximately $10. This design boasts several notable features: * A 100% scale equates to an upper diameter of 180mm. * No supporting structure is required, allowing for effortless assembly and minimal visual impact.
