Hydroponic pot
thingiverse
I've designed a custom pot for my Dionea plant, and I'm excited to share the details with you. The total height of this pot is 15cm, while its upper diameter measures 12cm, and the lower diameter comes in at 11cm. The tank itself stands about 3cm tall. All that's left to do now is make some holes for the cotton threads and add a float. Next up will be printing a float to complete this project. This pot was printed using PLA material with a layer thickness of 0.2mm at 20% infill density, and it features only one perimeter wall. It took a total of 20 hours to print, consuming 20 meters of 3mm filament in the process. Here are my printer settings for this project: My go-to printer is the Prusa i3, which I've relied on for countless prints. For this particular job, I opted against using any supports. The resolution I chose was a standard 0.2mm, and I decided to go with either 20 or 25% infill density. Finally, I noted that only one perimeter wall was necessary for this design.
