Hydroponic NFT Downspout Brackets
thingiverse
I'm building my first outdoor hydroponic system, and I need mounts for the channels made from plastic downspouts. To make things easier, I created a quick release version for easy removal of the channel, along with a solid version for a more permanent mount. The quick release feels sturdy enough, but I'll update after some growing time to see how it holds up. STL files are available online at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1687195 (Downspout End Caps) http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1688178 (Net Pot Blanking Plate) http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1698310 (Square Net Pot for Rockwool Cubes) I'm using vinyl downspouts from Home Depot in Canada, which have rounded corners with a radius of about 15mm and outside dimensions of 78.7mm x 58.7mm. If you know if other plastic downspouts differ, please post in the comments. For my hydroponic system, I'm using 2" net pots from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:240034. My print settings are as follows: Printer: PRUSA i3 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 30%
