Net Pot Holder (3 Inch) For Hydroponic / DWC 12/18/21 Revised (minor tweaks) If you grow tall plants and experience them tipping over and, you’re tired of using Duct-Tape or buying Bucket Lids with non-removable Net pots, this is for you! It works with several different Bucket Lids (thickness doesn’t matter). The Split-Ring Top enables installing it when a Plant’s stem diameter is under 1/2 inch thick. Locking the Top into the Bottom: Just line up the Locking-Tabs/Slots and Twist the Top CCW (there’s not a lot of rotation, just enough to hold them in place. (Spread the Outer Diameter (near the Slot) to ensure full seating...) Net-Pot: This is designed to work ONLY with Net-Pots having ‘Wide Thin Lips’ such as shown in Photo (available from Amazon/other). The ‘Bottom’ part attaches to the Top of the Lid using either #6 (preferred). (#8 also works - suggest avoiding them). Use Stainless-Steel screws (to avoid rust). Screw-Option 1: The Screw Holes permit using Small Diameter Threaded Machine-type Screws (washer and nut on Underside and User MUST ream a Conical into the part for the screw-head (can use a Reamer or a Drill-Bit (Best to do it by Hand, not a Power Tool). Ensure Screw-Head is below surface so the Top slides into locking position. Screw-Option 2: You can also Tap threads for Machine-Screws - you know how to do that, right? Printing: A minimum of Two Shells (to ensure material for the screw threads - they will Self-Tap into the plastic). Supports: Under the Tab's, if needed...
