I'm a passionate gardener who's designed a closed-loop rain gutter system just like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyOIRVjatdg.\r\n\r\nInitially, I wanted to use the Hydroponic Drain by Vik to tie everything together, but then discovered it wasn't exactly what I needed. \r\n\r\nI utilize a typical gardening irrigation hose that's widely available. The one I'm using is the 1/2" hose by Rain Bird.\r\n \r\nThe original drain turned out to be a bit too small and required a hose clamp to keep it intact. Furthermore, the single-barbed neck proved to be too fragile and snapped easily.\r\n\r\nMy version features three larger barbs that perfectly fit the Rain Bird hose (no tools needed), providing a leak-proof connection and significantly stronger structure.\r\n\r\nLet me know if this works for you!\r\n\r\nThe latest V3 iteration boasts an even stronger neck while maintaining the drain size of the original.
