Hydropack hose magnet clip

Magnetic clip designed to keep the hose of a hydration pack from swinging around. The only component needed for bag straps utilizing the original Hydrapac system that matches another backpack's piece. Designed for 11 mm button magnets and 15 mm chest straps, which were readily available. The source file is included, allowing users to make adjustments as necessary. Post-Printing Instructions: Remove supports from the clip and slide in the magnet from the side. Using a screwdriver, push the hole in the clip towards the front. Test the magnetic polarization with the hose piece attached. Take the magnet to the side, apply a drop of glue inside, then move it back into place. Simply add the magnet to the front to secure it. To increase force, an additional magnet was added; this one does not need to be glued in place. How I Designed This: This is a great example of iterative design in action. 1st Prototype: The clip was initially too small, making it difficult to slide onto the strap. The magnet chamber was also inadequate. 2nd Prototype: The magnet chamber and space for the strap were enlarged, but this resulted in too much material between the magnets, reducing their effectiveness. The strap buckle was also pushing against the hose of the clip. 3rd Revision: The front side thickness was reduced, an offset was added to the strap, and a second magnet was inserted into the newly created space, significantly improving its hold.
