This is an affordable mount for a hydrometer available on online marketplaces like eBay and Amazon. I bought ten units for $16, but they can be purchased in quantities of one or five as well. This particular model was designed with Inland filament in mind, so it may not fit spools from other brands. The mount is sized to fit holes measuring 54.7mm with a snug press fit. Before using the mount, please verify that your spool hole size matches this specification if you're not using Inland brand filament. Once you've installed your hydrometer on the spool, store it in a sealed bag filled with desiccant packs or silica gel to keep it dry. Vacuum-sealed bags are even better if available.
