HYDROGEL PRINTERNowadays, the technology of 3D printers, which is widely used today and will be indispensable in our offices and homes in the near future, is developing rapidly. In this study, three dimensional printer design and prototype is made by Cartesian type FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) method. With FDM technology, conceptual models, functional prototypes, production aids and end-use components can be successfully produced. Hydrogel ver derivatives are used as materials. Hydrogels are crosslinked homo or copolymeric systems capable of exhibiting ere swelling sistem by incorporating a high proportion of water. It is a three-dimensional polymeric network that can dissolve and swell in water, which can also absorb most of the water into its structures, and includes both natural and synthetic polymers such as gelatin, agar and alginates. In this study, educational materials and hobby works were carried out.
