This project aims at designing a cost-effective hydrofoil system for Laser sailboats. The main foil is automatically adjusted by the bow wand to ensure sufficient hull clearance above water level. Meanwhile, the rear foil can be manually controlled when gliding on water. Additionally, the rudder and centerboard/foil can be retracted in shallow waters. For optimal performance, Solidworks Flow Analysis is utilized to fine-tune the design of the foils.
