Hydro-Pot V2
thingiverse
I improved the hydro-pot design, making it more compact overall. This second generation model is a result of my efforts. You can cultivate plants using the hydro-pot by placing a seedling in a jiffy into the top section and then inserting that loaded top part into the bottom section, which you must fill with nutrient solution beforehand. The assembly's design is based on the kratky method, where water and nutrients are constantly supplied to the plant without needing soil. Initially, ensure there's a small gap between the root and nutrient solution; as the level drops to half or lower, make sure it stays at that level so roots receive adequate oxygen and don't become waterlogged. This method is known to boost growth rates. I hope you have fun experimenting with it.
