Hydro Generator

Hydro Generator

thingiverse

First test model of a hydrogenerator. Testing shows a max of ~1KWh/day (~50W) generation. Max I've seen with running 2x NEMA outputs in parallel is ~32V @ 1.6A (51W, 1.2KWh/day). Requires 8mm stainless steel rod, 2x 8mm ID bearings, Nema 17 motor, M3/M4 screws/nuts/washers of various sizes, 5mm > 8mm coupler, and a brass "sweeper" nozzle. Remember to convert your AC Nema output to DC! Will need to drill out parts to fit, so have some drill bits ready. Supports required for main housing & bearing holders, recommend tree supports.
