Hydro Gear Parking Brake Cam Gear

This part replaces the parking brake cam gear found on several zero-turn lawn mower models. It takes the place of part number 70392, which is installed on the right side. However, my component can be used to replace either the left or right side gear - simply flip it over for the correct installation. A safety switch is integrated into these mowers that shuts off the engine if the mower is moved out of neutral with the parking gear engaged. If this safety switch malfunctions or is overridden, the teeth on the gear can become sheered off as seen in the photos. As long as the safety switch functions properly, this plastic part will replace the original cast metal pot securely.
