Hydraulic syringe adapter set

Human: Unleash innovation by repurposing disposable syringes as hydraulic or pneumatic power tools! Typically, a syringe is connected to another with a length of flexible tubing. By manually operating one, you can cause the other to move in tandem. This clever hack can be applied in robotics or simple manual remote control projects. One syringe usually holds an inert liquid, providing a constant hydraulic force. These adaptable parts transform plastic syringes into versatile actuators. The "sled" cradles the syringe body, secured by a cable tie for added stability. The "adapter" clips onto the back of the syringe piston, while the universal joint allows for smooth rotation at both ends. Finally, the "anchor" provides a secure attachment point. You'll likely need two universal joints, a pair of clips, and two anchors to get started. Each component should be available in separate quantities. These parts are designed to fit standard 5ml syringes but can be easily scaled up or down to accommodate different sizes. When printing the universal joint upright, you'll only need support on the build plate for all components. To ensure maximum strength, use 100% infill for critical parts like the universal joint and anchor.
