Hydraulic Power Steering System

The last project in my program involved designing a custom power steering system. The rendering displayed minor updates from the previous model due to design modifications. This task provided an insightful learning experience, covering topics such as DV-P&R, D-FMEA, calculations for key components, and FEA. The main objective was to create a power steering system that met specific design and technical criteria, assuming it would fit in a WRC-spec car with exaggerated dimensions. Most of the modeling work was done independently, while a few components were modeled using similar pre-existing designs. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, calculations for the rack teeth and pinion teeth were not performed. However, the rendering showcased a gear ratio setting and demonstrated an animated assembly (using modified Toolbox components).
