Hydraulic Hose Cutter (Bicycle)

Hydraulic Hose Cutter (Bicycle)

A DIY Solution for a Square Cut on Hydraulic Brake Hoses. I Wanted to Avoid the $80 Shimano Tool, So I Came Up with This Design. As a Beginner at Installing Hydraulic Hoses, I Kept It Simple. The Main Goal Was a Clean Square Cut - And It Worked Well Enough. Note: The Model Parts Will Need Proper Orientation for Printing. I'll Update the Files Later If Needed. Parts Required: - X-Acto X11 Blade - M3x8mm Socket Head Screw - M3 Nut Everything Snaps Together, Although I Used the Nut to Secure the Outer Case. I Didn't Want It Coming Apart While Squeezing and Causing an Accidental Cut on My Finger. The Hydraulic Hose Fits Snugly Inside to Help Keep the Cut Square. (The Poor Tape Job on the Handlebars Is Temporary - I Needed Something to Hold the Ideal Hose Length.)
