Hydraulic Helper: 10x175mm Hydraulic Arm Gate/Door Support Rod

The hydraulic arms on the rear gate of my Dodge Durango wouldn't support the weight when outside temperatures dropped below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Living in Texas, I rarely use the rear door at such low temperatures, so I decided to design a simple solution rather than replacing both hydraulic arms. I used Fusion 360 to create the design and printed it on my Monoprice IIIP/Wanhao i3 Plus. The new arm has an outer diameter of 10 millimeters and measures 175 millimeters long, fitting snugly into the existing hydraulic arm. A bit of force is required to remove it once in place, just as I intended when designing it.
