Hydraulic arm with syringes
myminifactory
This arm rotates freely on two axes, grasping small objects with its pincer using only water pressure from syringes. To assemble this device, simply purchase six 10ml syringes for a few pounds at your local pharmacy and one meter of flexible tubing that can be found in an aquarium shop for approximately one to two pounds. The included diagrams illustrate the precise location of each rivet, as well as step-by-step instructions on how to print the individual components. For optimal printing results, use PLA material with 10% infill, a primary layer height of 0.2mm and a printing speed of 2600mm/min. Additionally, create a raft for support but do not require additional supports. View the arm in action on YouTube:
