Hydra Center BL Touch mount

Hydra Center BL Touch mount

The original Hydra system wasn't designed with ABL devices in mind, yet it had a basic mount that worked just fine. However, my issue was that the Hydra system expanded quite wide when equipped with dual 5015 fans, which created a problem when adding a BL Touch wing to the outside of the bed: it limited parts that could be probed and potentially caused interference with the frame. I'd seen an earlier center-mounted fan mount for a BL Touch, but I didn't like how much of the hot end cooling fan it covered. Taking advantage of the 5015 fan's one-sided design, I mounted the BL touch on the right side fan mount point so that it wouldn't interfere with the parts cooling 5015 fan and would have only minimal impact on the hot end cooling fan. Note: This solution was built around a 40x20 fan, which provided decent clearances. With a 40x10 fan, like the stock fan, this setup should pose no interference to the hot end airflow. As an example of what this achieved, the old BL touch mount was located 30mm left and 60 mm in front of the hot end. The new mount positions the BL Touch 16 mm right of the hot end center and 52 MM forward.
