Hydor Prime 10 hose connector
thingiverse
Human: Hi, I encountered a problem with my Hidor Prime 10 aquarium filter.\r\nThe threaded connector between the filter body and the hose valves snapped after only a few months.\r\nSo I came up with an innovative design. This will never malfunction.\r\n\r\nThis could be a challenging print so I recommend using these parameters:\r\n~ Layer height: 0.15 or thinner (I went with 0.08)...the reason being that the thread is a custom one and it has excessive overhangs\r\n~ Orientation: upside down, meaning that the threaded part should be on top\r\n~ Supports: absolutely yes, but only from buildplate\r\n~ Infill: 100%\r\n~ Material: pla or petg...I wouldn't go with abs since the print quality would suffer significantly\r\n\r\nImportant note. If you experience some z-wobble issues you will face difficulties\r\nImportant note 2. If your part doesn't screw in correctly you should try to enhance your print quality.
