I adapted a few parts in the hypercube kit to fit the parts I already had on hand - XY Joiner uses LM8UU bearings to reduce Y axis rod play, my rods are about 7.91mm instead of true 8mm so the bearings have some slop, but dual bearings tighten it up significantly. I also adapted to use 8mm rod on the X axis. I modified the idler adapter to use 4mm and 5mm idler bearings (I'm using GT2 teeth) which I just happened to have on hand - z leadscrew holder was adapted to use normal 608zz instead of flange bearings. I added 30/9/2016. I beefed up the Z nut clamp, my previous print kept snapping when I bolted down the Z nut holder on the side of the Z carriage. I also designed this brace to convert the printer into a heated enclosure in addition to adding bracing. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1799079 I added 3/10/2016. I upgraded print fan duct that blows from the left side - upgraded print fan duct that blows from 3 sides, with integrated Z probe induction sensor mount, also added a v2 version that's 4mm wider to allow some clone hotends to fit. I added 20/10/2016. I added PSU holder to suit DPS-1200FB power supply (overkill I know but had them on hand). I added bed holders with more bracing and slots to allow use of T-slot nuts as a captive nut to make it easier to adjust the bed. I used this as the Z axis coupler http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:396781. I added bearing holder for Z axis to suit the new Tech2c v1.1 motor mount - its necessary to use this if you aren't using an integrated leadscrew in your stepper motor otherwise you are likely to get Z wobble like I did when not using a bearing support on the top of the Z axis. I added new Z axis carriage, the original hypercube ones do not have enough bracing in them to support the cantilevered bed design - I've remixed a drop-in replacement that should be a lot stiffer, needs to be printed with the LM8UU slots down with supports. I added 3/11/2016. I added new V2 of the Z axis carriage that will stop any bed rotation around the Y axis. I added 8/11/2016. I added new V3 of duct with sensor, increased clearance and changed angle of ducts to work better with clone and real E3D variants - removed previous versions to cut down confusion.
