This specimen, a male, was collected on 10 July 1911 by E. Heller along the Lakiundu River in British East Africa. Dr. Blaire Van Valkenburgh of UCLA made it available to the University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning. The scanning was funded by Dr. Van Valkenburgh and a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant received by Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin.
