<p>The HW-636 is a DC-DC buck step down power converter. It has a relatively high input voltage range (6.5 -60V) with an output of upto 30V at 5 amps. Here is my 3D design of the module for modelling purposes, hence only the sizable PCB components are visible.</p> <p>If you're like me, it doesn't matter how much care you take, it's still possible to miss details in the 3D design. Typical missed details that will lead you into problems include:</p> <ul> <li>Parts encroaching on others.</li> <li>Hole spacings misaligned.</li> </ul> <p>A 3D model of each component incorporated into your design helps avoid some of the design pitfalls.</p> <p>I've included the STEP CAD file to assist people to incorporate the model into their designs.</p> <p>My print is made in PETG 1.75mm Aurarum neutral filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.</p> <p>I hope you can find this design useful, too.</p> <p>Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.</p>
