Since I wanted to upgrade my HP Proliant Microserver Gen8, but its design made it extremely difficult to add an active-cooled heatsink, I decided to install a separate fan controller. The only one I could find was a HW-585 unit that can be easily purchased online for a few bucks. Due to the server's small case size, I designed this module holder that simply clips onto the side. As a heatsink solution, I'm using a Scythe Kozuti (SCKZT-1000), which fits perfectly in this tight space.
