HVAC Register Booster - 120mm fan
thingiverse
So the air conditioner in my room has been underperforming for a while now. The register is positioned at its furthest possible distance from the furnace/blower, and it's also the last one in the duct system. I wasn't about to spend $30-$100 on an A/C register booster when I had two 120mm computer fans worth $50 and a $750 manufacturing tool sitting idle, so I decided to put them to use instead of buying something new. After 20 hours of printing (I had to break it up into two parts), my homemade A/C register booster was finally complete. This DIY solution uses two 120mm computer fans - specifically, the 5V Noctua NF-F12s model.
