Huxter 3D Afinia/Octave Hybrid Spool Holder

A hybrid spool holder was developed on Aug 30, 2013, with an updated version that accommodates three different spool types - wide Octave, Afinia Premium black plastic, and Afinia Value Line cardboard spools without changing the holder. This holder works in conjunction with Octave's Universal Spindle Adapter. To enhance stability, a slightly stronger buttress was added to handle thinner holders for the Afinia Value Line reel. Each reel is kept securely in place via its own gravity well. The design was inspired by testing both Afinia and Octave spool holders and making measurements before creating the new holder from scratch. The wider Octave spools are pushed closer to the base, avoiding the indentation, while narrower spools fit snugly into it. Feedback for improvements is always welcome.
