Huxley Fold Beef'd X axis LM6UU mount's
thingiverse
The motor block and idler have been reinforced in the LM6UU design, featuring 4mm slots for cable ties. I haven't tested it yet due to being busy, but the tabs still broke when using Ryhs-jones carrier. To resolve this issue, tie rap slots were added along with additional plastic. The belt channels have been widened as well as the M5 axis screw hole. This redesign was based on measurements taken from the original design in Alibre, so any errors should be forgiven. An update on 12 May revealed that the idler side experienced a problem, which was resolved by adding extra base depth and narrowing the z-axis hole by 0.5mm. A spacer for the idler bearing was also included. The final step is to print and assemble the design, hoping it will work successfully.
