<p>This is an open-toe foot for the Designer series Husqvarna sewing machines. It will probably work with other Husqvarna machines as well.</p> <p>I printed it sideways with support and a raft so the mounting pin would come out round and clean.</p> <p>Edit 11/14/2015</p> <p>I discovered that the clearance between the mounting pin and the top of the foot was too tight to print reliably, so I moved it a millimeter or so. Now it prints much more reliably. and still works great on the machine.</p> <p>I also added a second file that has 'helper disks' from Makerbot Desktop added to it so it will print laying flat without a raft. The helper disks are much easier to clean up after than a raft, and seem to work just as well in this case.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Post-Printing</h3> <p>If you print it on it's side, there will be more cleanup of support material.</p> <p>You will probably need to sand the toes a bit so they don't snag on the material while sewing.</p>
