Hello everybody! How has it been?!Im uploading the hushpuppy silencer for 22 cal. pistols/revolvers/rifles. Its a derivative of an existing design. As far as i know there are no patents used in this, so this should be perfectly legal. Ive basically used the information from the book: Modern Firearm Silencers. It was stated that for an m16 rifle: "The length of the M22 is 13.25 inches, the diameteris 1.375 inches, and the weight for the standardmodel is two pounds." page 39Looking at the picture of page 33, it seems that the effective part of the silencer is a lot shorter than that length. Thus the length used by the silencer uploaded is likely to be enough to do the job. The dimensions are made up from pictures and using known distances to refer to other unknown lengths on the pictures. For example: a known width of the inner pieces of the silencer are 1.25 inch, on the screen it measures 68mm, per inch that is 68/1.25=54.4, the space of the 2nd module was 149.5mm, thus the real length was 149/54.4=2.748" so 2.75 inch is a good idea to use at the distance. Since it is not a working part other than to be a volume air can be trapped in, i am convinced this will do the job as expected. The threads used are 1/2-28UNEF (see the "compensator m16" picture), and 15/16-20UNEF. The screw-threads can be looked up in the machinery handbook found in my "Gundrills, Reamers, Rifling Buttons, and Toolpost Holder for: 556NATO (223 remington), and 762NATO (308 Winchester)" upload. The adapter has the exact same layout as m16 compensator, thread wise.. The thing the silencer is lacking is a spring and weight for semi auto fire with tilt barrel pistols (most of the pistols have that). Some pistols/revolver are highly looked after for silencer use: HK P9S (roller delayed), and the nagant revolver (the only revolver that can be successfully silenced. Also a ruger mk 3 would do great with this thing. Best results however can be gotten when there is no fast opening up of the breach so the chamber side wont make any sound. I have added 3 videos that really clear up how it is to be used, and a lot of the details are showed in the pictures too. To be able to shoot with tilt barrel pistols you need the spring and the pistol (as in the "5lzno" picture). I did not add this feature, while i think the pistol makes to much sound that way, and i cant test it, and i dont want to upload something i am not sure about. The best use of this silencer will probably when i...
