Hush-98 Jedi Comlink
thingiverse
Here's my first movie prop made from scratch--the Jedi Comlink. I crafted it using visual dictionary photos, so the scale and dimensions may not be perfect but I'm pretty sure it looks okay. I separated the buttons for better visual quality. All parts are ready to print, with one exception - the Comms array 1 needs to be flipped over. Update 4/1/2019: I made the antennae lay flat for sturdiness and scaled them down a bit to fit the holes, so you should print them horizontally. The bent tab on the back is just bent and glued at an angle. Use supports for the body, microphone, and rear round. The rear square panel is simply glued to the back. There's a third "tridial" needed for the rear, but I forgot to include it in the diagram picture. *****Update 7/20/19***** I added a new "Comms Array" module for an alternate version of the prop used by Qui-Gon. The new parts have "Comms Array" in their filename. Print the antennae lying down and both comms array 1 & 2 should be printed flat side down, referring to the photo for proper placement. Let me know what you think!
