This solution is perfect, easy to take in a pocket or pack (with a rubber band or strap, it's virtually silent). Simply separate the pieces, insert one end into the base of the seat, and get in kneeling or crouching position. Then sit down - this design keeps your legs from holding up your mass, allowing blood flow. Use strong materials when building this portable stool. PLA can work, but if you apply too much pressure sideways, it may snap. Use common sense. Cutting a pool noodle to use as padding over the seat is a luxury that your softer areas will appreciate.
