Hunter Douglas Mini-blind Valance Bracket
thingiverse
I have old mini-blinds in my house from 2006 with worn-out brackets that are starting to crumble. The brackets' brittleness is a major concern, but I decided to take matters into my own hands and find an affordable solution. Buying new ones online for $2 each seems like a viable option, but I'm eager to try something more creative. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Architect Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% How I Designed This I carefully scanned the actual bracket using my flatbed scanner and imported it into Sketchup for further refinement. After tracing the design, I exported it as a .stl file from Blender. To add extra strength to the printed brackets, I made sure to reinforce the areas that tend to break. The reinforced sections should provide a more stable foundation for the mini-blinds, saving me time and money in the long run.
