Hungry Hungry Chickens

Human: A mesmerizing set of chickens pecks at the ground as you swing the ball around. Makes for an excellent toy for distracting yourself from more important things that you should probably be doing. Each chicken's head is attached to a thread, which feeds through the baseplate to a ball hanging directly below it. When swung gently, the chickens peck at the seeds. ## What to Print & Assemble * Baseplate.stl * Grass.stl * 2 x Handle_half.stl * 2 x Ball_half.stl (Or alternatively, ball.stl file) * Left_side.stl for each chicken * Right_side.stl for each chicken * Legs.stl for each chicken * 2 x Standoff.stl for each chicken * Tail.stl for each chicken * Head.stl for each chicken The handle halves simply glue onto the baseplate, and the grass features ovals that can be painted as seeds. This is what I have done. There are five chickens on the board. For each chicken, you will need to print: To assemble each chicken, one M3*18mm screw is also required. Take a look at the image to figure out the assembly process. Essentially, put a standoff on either side of the head, then use a screw to hold this assembly between the two sides. Slot the tail into the body, then glue the two sides to the legs. Take some fine thread and tie it to the smaller hole in the head, then thread it through the hole in the baseplate. Finally, glue the chicken down into the square slot. To attach the threads together, use a weighted object. It does not have to be the printed ball; one option is to group all the threads together and tie them to a large nut.
