Hungate tube adapter for Merck SpectroQuant

The colleague cultivated anaerobes in large Hungate tubes and needed to measure the optical density of the culture without opening the tube. The available photometers were unable to accept the tube with culture as is or to protect against the ambient light.The closest equipment was Merck SpectroQuant Multy, but its tube holder was neither long enough nor matched the tube diameter. This is how this prototype started.These model(s) were designed in Solidworks 2021 as part of work at Wageningen University and Research.
