The Danuvia submachine gun, chambered in 9x25mm Hungarian, played a crucial role for Hungarian forces from 1939 to the end of World War II. Crafted by ingenious Hungarian engineer Pál Király, this firearm has also been referred to as the Kiraly 43M. Notably, Király's most notable innovation was the lever-delayed blowback operating principle, which would later be adopted in the French FAMAS design.
