I designed a hummingbird nester based on a picture I saw online, and I decided to build one for my yard. After browsing the web for inspiration, I used CAD software to create the design, which I thought was worth sharing. The rear hole and mesh are intended to be filled with cotton or something similar, providing the bird with material to construct its nest. I hope you find it appealing. ----- ABOUT THE PRINT ----- Personally, I chose PETG for printing due to its resistance to UV light and weather conditions. However, this may make painting challenging. Here are the parameters I used: - White Hatchbox PETG - .2mm layer height - 30-40mm/s speed - 7mm retraction - 235°C nozzle temperature - 70°C bed temperature - 20% infill density - Supports enabled - At least 4 layers thick
