Hummingbird feeder hanging hook with ant moat

This is a hummingbird hanger with built-in ant moat protection. Its components are designed to print separately, then attach securely using either glue or acetone. Print Settings: Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Notes: You must print one ant moat and two hooks. The ant moat can be printed with 15% infill, utilizing supports for the center area at the top of the sphere half. However, supports are not necessary for the inner hole. I printed the hooks at 100% infill for added strength, though 40-50% would likely suffice. One support is required at the very end of each hook where it inserts into the moat. Both parts can be printed without supports, but using them yields a better final product. Post-Printing: Attaching the Hooks to the Moat I attach the hooks to the moat one at a time, allowing the first hook to dry completely before attaching the second. To do this, I generously apply acetone to the moat portion then brush the hook "nub" and flat surface with acetone. Next, I press the parts together and hold until they set. After that, let them dry and attach the second hook. Finally, allow it to dry completely before hanging the feeder. Trust me on this one - I made the mistake of being impatient and hung my first model before the acetone was fully set, resulting in a sugar water mess on my deck.
