Hummingbird Feeder

#UPCYCLINGFIVERR Creative Common CC-BY This hummingbird feeder is designed to reuse glass bottles (ie 12oz (or smaller) beer bottles, soda bottles) with either twist off or pry off caps. The base is designed to print successfully without supports, but some machines may need some build plate support for the bottom surface. Print with colorful filaments, 15% infill, 3 or 4 perimeters/walls. The flowers can be printed in a different color and then pressed/glued into the base. Each one is about 1.5m of filament, so is an outlet for short scrap filament. The flowers include perches. Print face down. The top collar ring isn't mandatory, but helps keep the bottle stable if it were in high wind, or was to be bumped and tipped over. Print top down with no supports. The gasket inside the base is optional, and is designed to hold the bottle better. The gasket folds to be inserted into the base, and the bottle firmly presses into the gasket. The bottle will still sit in the base without the gasket, but would suggest to use the top collar ring to keep the bottle steady. Gasket info 83a TPE, 15% concentric infill. Consider typical flex filament parameters (direct drive, slow speeds, low drive and filament tension, lots of cooling especially around the drive motor) Print with wider end of seal on build plate. String, twine, wire, and even 1.75mm filament scraps can be used to assemble the hanger. There is a filament cap design included, if using filament. Nectar, Sugar water - 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. Use colorful filaments and avoid red dye in the water. A funnel design is included also, to help with filling the bottle.
