We were fed up with ants invading our humming bird feeder, so I opened my CAD program and created this solution. This design ensures that all the weight is offloaded from the 3D print. Simply pass a nylon string through the small tube with a secure knot on one end, then add water to the bowl. Although it doesn't require extra support, you can reinforce the structure with hot glue for added stability if desired.
