Humidor - "Cross Brace" 10 Cigar Humidor

I've been struggling to find a suitable humidor for printing, so I decided to create my own. I wanted something compact that could fit in my desk at work, which is why I designed the "Cross Brace" version. This print can hold 10 cigars or 9 with a single humidifier stick, and it accommodates any size cigar up to 6.5 inches and any ring size under 60. Unfortunately, it won't fit 7-inch sticks due to my limited print bed size. I'm confident that it could handle larger ring sizes, but 60 is the largest common size I usually smoke. If you're interested in a longer box, let me know and I'll prioritize designing it. However, keep in mind that I won't be able to print it myself. I came up with the name "Cross Brace" as I have several other designs in development, which will be released soon. Inside the humidor, there's space for 1/4-inch cedar slats (check out the pictures). You can find my materials list below. For this project, I used Hatchbox Wood PLA, which has become my go-to filament due to its excellent performance. I'm still researching and testing this information with my current box. In the meantime, it's best to use Spanish Cedar for builds. If you have any input or insights, please share them – I'm eager to hear your thoughts! It also stains easily, which is a plus. I glued the cedar to the PLA using Gorilla Glue and let it cure for 24 hours before airing out the box for another 24 hours. Finally, I seasoned the box by closing it for an additional 48 hours. If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to share them! If you'd like to show your appreciation for my work, consider buying me a coffee (or in this case, a cigar!).
