A bespoke setup consists of a Spark Core WiFi microcontroller secured onto an "perma-proto" breadboard-style PCB offered by Adafruit, paired with a solid state relay. The microcontroller is directly linked to a temperature and humidity sensor, and the relay orchestrates a humidifier's operation based on precise humidity readings. Meanwhile, the sensor data are concurrently transmitted to a Google Docs spreadsheet for permanent logging. A precise 3D model of the setup was crafted within Autodesk Fusion 360.
